Osaka MariTime Museum

Osaka MariTime Museum, is a place to know Osaka as a port city since ancient time. Its location is near Kaiyukan and World Trade Center. So when I did the Unlimited Pass travel, I visited almost of those 3 places in one day. This is one of my favorite place I’ve visited in Osaka. The design & the overall concepts of the museum are beautiful.

The dome is made from glass. To go the main exhibit, we have to pass the underwater tunnel. What interesting in this museum are the educative exhibits. We can try the exhibits, smelling some spices, and even watch a short live historical drama. Although the drama is full Japanese, but it’s enjoyable.
